Whether it's hauling a vehicle for play (car, ATV, snowmobile, motorcycle, etc), or transporting heavy duty equipment or material between sites, Interstate has the right trailer for the job and we need you to help deliver the demand by joining our production team in the Yard (shipping) Department. 

The Yard staff will support our valued customers by contributing to the high quality construction process of Interstate Trailers.  This will include:  

• Receiving shipments of materials used in our trailer construction process. 
• Checking, counting and otherwise ensuring the quality and quantity of items ordered, shipped and received.
• Carefully reviewing order documents are consistent with items ordered, shipped or received. 
• Using a forklift or other loading devices or tools, safely, securely and efficiently, loading completed trailer units onto vehicles for shipment to retail stores.
• Accurately stocking, counting and replenishing materials needed for weekly production. 
• All finished work production will reflect accuracy and established quality control standards. 
• This role is expected to learn and become proficient in other production roles in order to support the entire production team as needed. 
• After training, this role will demonstrate a consistently safe, efficient and accurate work environment, including the ability to:
  • Operate a forklift or other loading devices or tools.
  • Use general hand tools when required.
  • Read, communicate and compare words and figures to verify accuracy of information or determine actions needed to address inaccuracies.
